Respecting the latest knowledge in the area of energy efficiency and indoor air quality, the system of warm-air heating and ventilation attracts more and more people not only among builders but also among architects, designers and generally all supporters of so called healthy and low-energy living.
In this field ATREA offers special unit ventilators already since 1992 - e.g. DUPLEX 185 to 600 and DUPLEX EC units.
After many tests a new patented concept of dual-zone units for warm-air heating and ventilation marked DUPLEX RD was introduced in 1999. Simultaneously a complete system for integrated residential warm-air heating and ventilation was introduced to the market. It included duct, fittings, air outlets, air distribution chambers and last but not least also the integrated heat storage tanks. It was followed by establishing a specialized division within the ATREA Company.
Today, this division provides a complete professional support to customers and designers in the field. It publishes design documentation, sample solutions and complete energy studies. It also provides training and technical support for designers and installers as well as offers basic information to investors and architects.
In 2003, new DUPLEX RB series units were introduced expanding the system warm-air heating even to the passive family houses and primarily the low energy residential buildings.
The product range system extension with ventilation and warm-air heating of small swimming pools (mainly residential) proved to very perspective and was appreciated by customers.
